Types of Cells
There are two types of cell, Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cells. Prokaryotic cells are simpler and smaller, with no nucleus, the genetic material (DNA) floats in the cytoplasm. Eukaryotic cells are complex with a nucleus which is where the DNA is stored, with many different organelles. Prokaryotic cells are usually bacteria while Eukaryotic cells are plants and animals.
Cell Structure
Both Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic cells have a cell membrane. Only Plant cells have a cell wall. Eukaryotic and Prokaryotic both have cytoplasm, but Eukaryotic cells have organelles in the cytoplasm and a nucleus. Prokaryotic cells don't have a nucleus, which is the brain of the cell.
